Introduction:
Wirt County Schools has determined a need for administrator training for scheduling related to special education and staff training regarding Specially Designed Instruction at the elementary level. This training is needed to be implemented Spring/Summer 2026.
Scope of the Project:
Proposal shall include:
1 day of training on specially designed instruction
Include an agenda for the training with details of the information and how it aligns with state evidence-based practices
4 days of work with administration on scheduling related to special education – 1 day with elementary, 1 day with middle and 2 days with high
The location of the services will be at Wirt County Primary Center, Middle School and High School
All sessions are to be in person
Submittal Information and Deadline:
Proposals shall be submitted by May 21, 2026 at 4:00 pm EST to Carla Brown at crtaylor@k12.wv.us.
Awards will be made in the best interest of the LEA. The LEA may accept or reject in part, or in whole, any proposal. Vendors must be registered with West Virginia Secretary of State Office, West Virginia Department of Taxation, and accept Purchase Orders. Vendor must agree to all purchasing policies and procedures for local educational agencies of West Virginia.
