💻 What this means for families:
• Digital safety instruction is required by state law for all students in grades 3–12
• The State of West Virginia has identified CyberSWAT (Safety While Accessing Technology) as the platform to meet this requirement
• Families are encouraged to review the materials by clicking the link below and exploring the available parent resources. Students who have opt out will complete an alternative digital safety lesson through Common Sense Media to meet state requirements.
The intent of this training is to equip students with the skills needed to safely and responsibly navigate today’s digital world. Our goal is to partner with families, provide clear information, and respect parent choice while meeting state requirements.
If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact the high school at 304-275-4241 or click on the link : https://wveis.k12.wv.us/cyberswat

Week of April 13 - 18, 2026

Lily Cross, Brooklin Mills, and Lynsie Perdue represented our school with confidence and compassion as they shared meaningful words during the event. Their willingness to speak out and raise awareness is truly commendable.
A special thank you to our CIS Site Coordinator, Mrs. Moore, for supporting and guiding our students in this important opportunity, and to Brooklyn Carpenter from FCIC for asking our students to participate in this meaningful event.
We are incredibly proud of these young ladies for representing WCHS with such pride and professionalism! 💙
