Week of April 13 - 18, 2026

It is time for Open Enrollment applications to be submitted! Just a reminder that if your student lives outside of Wirt County, you have to fill this form out each year, even if your child has always went to Wirt County Schools. We have included a QR code to make this process simpler. If you have questions, please call the school at 304-275-4241.

WCHS 9th and 10th grade students will be taking Benchmark 3 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 beginning at 8:00 am. Students need to bring their devices fully charged and be well rested!

Wirt County High School is proud to recognize a group of outstanding students who recently participated in the Child Abuse Prevention Flag Day event at the Wirt County Courthouse.
Lily Cross, Brooklin Mills, and Lynsie Perdue represented our school with confidence and compassion as they shared meaningful words during the event. Their willingness to speak out and raise awareness is truly commendable.
A special thank you to our CIS Site Coordinator, Mrs. Moore, for supporting and guiding our students in this important opportunity, and to Brooklyn Carpenter from FCIC for asking our students to participate in this meaningful event.
We are incredibly proud of these young ladies for representing WCHS with such pride and professionalism! 💙
