Proposal for Poverty Training

 

Introduction:

Wirt County Schools has determined a need for staff training regarding poverty and its impact on student behavior and achievement at the elementary and middle levels. This training is needed to be implemented for Summer 2025.

 

Scope of the Project:

Proposal shall include:

1 day of training on emotional poverty

1 day of training on understanding poverty

Include an agenda for each day training with details of the information that will be covered and how student behavior and achievement can be improved

The location of the services will be at Wirt County Primary Center and/or Middle School

Submittal Information and Deadline:

Proposals shall be submitted by June 17, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST to Carla Brown at crtaylor@k12.wv.us.

Awards will be made in the best interest of the LEA. The LEA may accept or reject in part, or in whole, any proposal. Vendors must be registered with West Virginia Secretary of State Office, West Virginia Department of Taxation, and accept Purchase Orders. Vendor must agree to all purchasing policies and procedures for local educational agencies of West Virginia.
