UPDATE FROM SUPERINTENDENT POPE ALBIN  5/17/2020

Good Evening, this is superintendent Pope Albin.

Today we need to pay a special tribute to the graduating Class of 2020. This very special group of students has shown great resilience in their final year of public education. We send a very special tribute to each and everyone of them today, what would have been their graduation day. We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to honoring their work in a Face to Face graduation ceremony that has been postponed to June 20th at 7:00 pm in our stadium. Due to the health requirements during this pandemic graduates and parents will celebrate this special day, and we will live stream the ceremony for all others.

The next four days are the last days for student work this school year. We thank you for the great work families have done to support learning through distance learning/virtual school remotely. Congratulations. Please be sure students complete their work with their teachers this week. As always, we are proud of how students and families have stepped up to the challenge.

Tomorrow, Monday, May 18th at 10:00 am anyone with children ages 3-18 can pick up weekly food bags at WCHS parking lot. We look forward to seeing you.
