Just a reminder that tomorrow is our annual Wellness Day - rain or shine. Students are asked to bring rain gear and a change of clothes/shoes. A fun day of activities are planned for the students.
WCHS Graduates will have practice at 9:30 am on Friday, May 23, 2025. Graduates will load a bus and visit the Elizabeth Care Center at 10:30 am and the primary and middle school at approximately 11:00 am. Lunch will be 11:30 am. Awards will begin at 12 Noon and then senior walk out.
Graduation practice 1 Will be tomorrow at 1:30 pm. Seniors need to sign in the main office and report to the gym area by 1:30 pm.

The Workforce Development Board MOV is hosting Job Ready! Healthcare event on June 12th at the Wood County Resiliency Center from 9am-2pm. I have attached a flier for your students.
In addition to the regional employer booths there will be a schedule of guest speakers providing 15 minute presentations on different careers in the healthcare field with time for Q&A. Several hands-on activities will be set up to provide additional opportunities to learn about various careers and interact with healthcare professionals.
Parents/graduates - information regarding graduation events this week at WCHS. Please note the time change for graduation practice on Thursday - 1:30 pm.
Due to field trips and not enough coverage for regular routes, Bus 38 will not be running their evening route. Please call the school if arrangements need made for your student. Sorry for the late notice and inconvenience.

Senior Banquet is Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 6:00 pm. RSVP by Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Wirt County Schools Parents/Guardians: Did you receive a text message or email inviting you to our new Rooms platform? Invites were sent out Monday, May 6th. If you didn't receive an invite or need help signing up, please check out our support page, https://www.wirtcountyschools.com/page/rooms-support, where you can view sign up information and submit a help request to our technology department. Once you are signed up, visit the Wirt County Schools app and select "Classroom" at the bottom to access Rooms. We will begin using this app for communication in the 25-26 school year.
