Attention third and fourth grade families!

The annual West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) is only a couple of weeks away!

To help our students feel confident and motivated, our teachers have been working hard to make testing season a little more fun. The hallways are filled with baseball‑themed decorations and encouraging messages, all designed to inspire our students to step up to the plate and give it their best swing. ⚾
We encourage all students to:

Take their time
Do their best
Use the test‑taking skills they have been practicing
Eat well and get plenty of sleep before testing days

We are so proud of the preparation and effort our students and staff have put into this learning journey. With teamwork, confidence, and determination, our students are ready to knock it out of the park! 🐯

Attendance Tiger Champs—Again!

Give a big round of ap-paws! 👏

Mrs. Flanagan’s class has once again earned the Attendance Tiger after proudly having it all week last week. Their attendance has truly been pawsome, and it shows!

We’re so proud of these students for showing up, doing their best, and making school a priority. We hope they keep up the great work by coming to school regularly and giving their all each day.

Watch Out… There’s Some Wild Hair at School!

If you’ve noticed some seriously creative hairstyles popping up around school, don’t worry—no bad haircuts happened here! The students in Mrs. Muniz’s class have been busy scientists during their seed study, and their grass seeds were a BIG success! 🌱

They created “grass hair” by planting seeds in cups decorated with photos of students and school staff. With a little water, sunshine, and patience, the grass grew right out of the tops—turning everyone into a grassy‑haired superstar!

We are so proud of our young learners for their curiosity, care, and commitment to growing something from a tiny seed. Science is looking pretty fresh these days, just like this grass! 💚
