What a wonderful day to adventure!
Our 2nd grade students had an unforgettable field trip to Blennerhassett Island today!
The excitement started right away with a scenic boat ride across the Ohio River, where students enjoyed the fresh air, spotted wildlife, and took in the stunning views.
Once on the island, students stepped back in time as they explored the historic Blennerhassett Mansion and learned about life in the 1800s. In the museum, students had the chance to dive even deeper into history, learning about the Blennerhassett family and their role in early American events.
From smiling faces on the boat to curious minds in the museum, it’s clear our students had an amazing hands-on learning experience. Field trips like this bring history to life in a way that classrooms simply can’t!
Thank you to our teachers, staff, and chaperones for making this special day possible—and to our families and community for your continued support. We really appreciate your participation in our fundraisers, so we can continue to make memories such as these for our students every year!
