Important Information for Parents/Guardians of PreK Students
We have been watching the weather. We noticed that it may be too cold tomorrow for the water and foam activities. Do not worry! We still have bouncy houses and other activities for our preschool students to participate in. We encourage you to pack a change of clothes for your children tomorrow. In the event that it rains, we will have an alternative plan which your classroom teacher will inform you about tomorrow. We still plan for the Fun Day to start shortly after lunch, which is at 11:30am. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's preschool teacher.
Thank you,
The Preschool Staff

To help your child feel confident and perform their best, we recommend the following:

✅ Eat a healthy breakfast at home or school
✅ Dress in layers for comfort during testing
We’re committed to supporting our students during this important time, and we know you are too! Testing can bring added stress, so your encouragement and reassurance go a long way in helping them feel calm and prepared.

📢 Parents & Guardians of Third and Fourth Graders! 📢
Tomorrow, May 8, 2025, Wirt County Primary Center will be administering the WVGSA, our state-mandated test. This assessment will focus on our students' Math skills. Testing will start promptly after students enter their classrooms and attendance is taken, so being on time to school is especially important when we test.
To ensure our students are at their best, we have encouraged them to eat a healthy meal and get plenty of sleep tonight. Let's help them be ready and raring to go for the assessment tomorrow morning!
Thank you for your support!
