It's that time of year again! Don't forget to check on the status of your Kroger Community Rewards, and if you haven't signed up yet, please do so. This ongoing fundraiser earned the school $1593.09 last year. The best part of it is that all you have to do is your regular grocery shopping. There is truly no cost or catch to it. Kroger simply donates money to the school each time you do your grocery shopping and scan your Kroger card. Please see the instructions and scan the QR code below to get signed up.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF 3-YEAR-OLDS! Are you interested in participating in a monthly Playgroup at Wirt County Primary Center? One Friday a month from 9 to 11, 3-year-olds and their parent(s) would meet in one of the preschool classrooms and participate in activities that will help the children prepare for the day in the near future when they will be true preschoolers. Regular preschool classes are not in attendance on Fridays so this time would be dedicated solely to these youngsters. The formation of this Playgroup will depend on the interest we receive from the community. If there is enough interest, more details will be forthcoming. This year we will be holding Open House a bit differently. We will only be doing a couple of grades per evening, and we will be doing 2 sessions per evening. The sessions will be more formal than in the past with teachers giving you more specific information about curriculum and procedures for their classrooms. We ask that you come at the beginning of the session you choose so you get all of the offered information. Please take note of the following information and please call the school with any questions. Tuesday August 9, 2022-3rd and 4th Grade Open Houses Session 1-> 4:00-5:00 pm Session 2->5:00-6:00 pm Please pick one session to attend. Wednesday August 10, 2022-1st and 2nd grade Open Houses Session 1-> 4:00-5:00 pm Session 2->5:00-6:00 pm Please pick one session to attend. Thursday August 11, 2022-PK and Kindergarten Open Houses Session 1-> 4:00-5:00 pm Session 2->5:00-6:00 pm Please pick one session to attend. First Day of School Grades K-12 First Day-August 18, 2022 PK (Split Start) *You will receive information regarding which group your PK student is in during Open House when you meet your teacher. * Group 1-August 22, 2022 Group 2-August 24, 2022 Prepare for a Dino-Mite year by taking pictures with a Jurassic Park ranger and her Dino friends on the first day of school.
